MassBudget Statement on 2024 Election Results

The outcome of the national election brings great uncertainty. Today, many of us feel as if there will be inevitable consequences challenging what we believe in and stand for.

Massachusetts has an even greater responsibility to be a beacon of hope and an example for progressive social change. When policy decisions hurt vulnerable populations historically left out of policy conversations, it is more important than ever that our state stay true to the meaning of an inclusive and representative democracy.

We at MassBudget remain steadfast in our commitment to building an inclusive democracy that is racially and economically just by providing research, policy analysis, and advocacy to uplift all families.

We cannot do this work alone. We rely on those who share our values to make Massachusetts an even more inclusive, socially just state. We look forward to working with you in the days, months, and years ahead.
