  • In FY19, the budget includes a transfer of $3.7 million from marijuana tax revenues into the school building assistance (SMART) trust.
  • From FY01-FY04, school building assistance was funded in several line items. In FY04, funding for school building assistance was consolidated into an off-budget "pre-budget transfer" of a portion of the sales tax to the School Modernization and Reconstruction Trust. All of these line items and the pre-budget transfer are grouped together.
