Week In Review: Politics And Pandemic Heat Up

Things are heating up everywhere.

The delta is turning up the heat on the politics of the pandemic. A UN climate report that has the planet burning up — not literally, but well, maybe. And the heat’s on in Washington, as Congress races to finalize more than 4.5 trillion dollars in two spending packages that could have major impacts here in Massachusetts.

We take listener calls with Charlie Chieppo, a senior fellow at the Pioneer Institute and principal of Chieppo Strategies and Marie-Frances Rivera, President of the Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center.

This segment aired on August 13, 2021.
