Roberto Jimenez-Rivera

Director of Development

Roberto Jimenez-Rivera is Director of Development at the Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center. He is responsible for leading the organization’s fundraising.

Before joining MassBudget Roberto worked at the Boston Teachers Union as Political Organizer. He led electoral and legislative efforts to support campaigns like the Fair Share Amendment, Driver’s Licenses for All, and Elect the Boston School Committee, and legislation to improve school funding, educator diversity, and worker conditions. Prior to this, he worked in undergraduate admissions at the University of Michigan, Harvard College, and Tufts University.

Roberto holds bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Informatics, as well as a master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Michigan. He also currently serves as an elected member of the Chelsea School Committee.
